  • Timmons Group buys a second environmental engineering firm in Triangle region

    The Timmons Group engineering firm is expanding its presence in the Triangle again with its second company acquisition in the region in the last seven months.

    A spokesperson for Timmons Group based in Richmond, Va., confirms that the company has acquired Mitchell Environmental of Fuquay-Varina, an environmental and soil sciences firm founded by Scott Mitchell in 2006.

    Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
